I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, the diamond capital of the world. My great-grandfather was a jeweller and my mom an artist, and I have been able to combine elements of those two mediums in my career. After placing second throughout all of South Africa in my final exams, I began my career in jewellery manufacturing in 1987.

I enjoy working with metals and always find it very exciting to be able to produce something from nothing. All my work is hand-made and produced by me at the bench. I specialize in designing and making jewellery, but more importantly, I enjoy developing a relationship with my clients.

Jewellery is so personal - you are either buying your first diamond, celebrating an anniversary, a special birthday or bringing home a first child - and I am privileged to be there for my clients and guide them through the process.

I have owned and operated Martin Jewels in Toronto, Canada since 1997, and I invite you to come by so that we can meet.
